In November, our Year 5s and Year 6s sat the Primary Maths Challenge along with 63,000 other children of the same age across the UK.
UK wide, just 1900 pupils scored highly enough to get through to the final round held in February. For us that was Alexa Irwin, Israar Clarke and Sacha Hunter. Sadly, Alexa was ill on the day of the challenge; however, Sacha and Israar did a sterling job and were worthy medal winners with Sacha receiving a silver medal and Israar a bronze.
Once again, a big “Well done!” to everyone in Year 5 and Year 6 and a special “Well done!” to Sacha and Israar.
