Science in action

Last week, Year 5 dissected a chicken leg to help them understand how different types of cells and tissues work together….

While Year 6 dissected a sheep eyeball to help them understand how vision works. A gruesome but memorable lesson!

Year 6 have also been learning about the forces acting on ships. To test out their understanding we held a raft building competition. The winning team was able to hold over 1200 grams before sinking - An impressive achievement!
