U12/13 footballers were in action against North Bridge House, Canonbury on Tuesday afternoon. The Year 7 and 8s A team confidently won their match, having put in a dominant performance as they ran out 11-1 winners. The B team drew their match 3-3 which was well deserved, after the team came back from conceding two early goal. Well played!

The Year 4s played Gatehouse School in their first football matches of the year. The A team conceded some early goals, which gave Gatehouse a significant lead going in to half time. A spirited second half performance  saw SPCS score 5 late goals which helped them reduce the margin but the final score finished 8-5 to Gatehouse.

The B team were involved in a very even contest which saw the scores tied at 2-2 going in the final 2 minutes. Unfortunately, it was Gatehouse who managed to strike late on, which allowed them to snatch a 3-2 victory in the last play of the match.

And finally, one of our Year 6 pupils experienced success last weekend after winning both his cross-country races whilst competing for London Heathside.

On Saturday he was first across the line in the U11, 2km road race whilst competing in the Chingford League and on Sunday, he won the Year 5 & 6 race in Priory Park which was an event organised as part of the North Long Run Festival. Well done!
