This week, Year 4 have set off on the start of a journey back to Ancient Egypt!
On Monday, we became archaeologists piecing clues together to discover ancient artefacts and uncover tomb paintings; we carefully sifted sand to locate hidden treasures beneath.
On Tuesday, we took a trip along the Nile to spot places of interest - we found Cairo, Luxor and the Valley of the Kings and noticed the different terrain across the country of Egypt. Finally, we ventured into the daily life for an Egyptian boy and girl.
..Next week, in our science session, we shall be reaching for our magnifying glasses and microscopes to analyse Egyptian waste products (poo!) to find out more about the diet of a pharaoh!
