Reception:
Pupils receive 30 minutes specialist class music, focusing on singing, rhythm, movement and creativity. Pupils can also receive individual tuition on the following instruments: recorder, violin and cello.
Year 1:
Pupils receive 30 minutes specialist class music, focusing on singing, rhythm, note-reading and creativity. There is also a Year 1 choir, which rehearses every Wednesday at 8.10am. Pupils can also receive individual tuition on the following instruments: piano, recorder, violin and cello.
Year 2:
Pupils receive 30 minutes class recorder lessons with our recorder specialist, Ms Monaghan, plus a further 20 minutes focusing on singing and creativity (with Mr Kennedy – Director of Music). There is also a Year 2 choir, which rehearses every Friday at 8.10am.
