Clubs are a great opportunity to follow a passion or develop a new interest, while making new friends. They change regularly, so children get to experience a wide range of extracurricular activities with a variety of staff. Children are welcome to attend as many clubs as they like each week, and can change their choice termly. All clubs are charged on a termly basis.
Pre-prep Clubs
We run a range of optional after-school clubs for Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 children at an additional charge, between 4.00pm and 5.00pm.
Children in Reception are introduced to clubs through our Stay and Play sessions, where they enjoy a relaxed hour or so after the school day finishes. A Stay and Play session might include some sport, art or story-based activities.
For Year 1 and 2, we run more structured clubs with a particular theme. These vary from year to year, depending on the specialisms of our staff and the enthusiasms of our pupils. Past clubs have included football, gymnastics, Lego, karaoke, creative writing, movement and dance, and art.

Prep School Clubs
Prep School Clubs (for pupils in Years 3 to 8) take place between 4.00pm and 5.00pm each day.
Clubs vary each term, shaped by the interests of our pupils and supervising staff, but across a year are likely to include sewing, football, art, fencing, filmmaking, history of film, chess, Lego, Warhammer, cooking, board games, drama, LAMDA, origami, netball, police cadets, top trumps, crochet and knitting, and gymnastics. We also run Day Prep, a supervised homework session.
Pupils may sign up for as many clubs as they wish but must commit to each one for a full term. Where clubs are oversubscribed, we operate a rotation system so more pupils get the chance to try popular options. All clubs incur a charge and can be booked at the start of term.

Wrap Around Care
Aware of the challenges facing busy working parents, we run a Breakfast Club from 7.45am until the start of school, and a late stay provision after clubs from 4.30pm to 6.00pm, at an additional charge. Children are provided with a light meal. Spaces can be booked on an ad hoc or termly basis.
