PTA

As a parent at SPCS, you automatically become a member of our Parent Teacher Association. The PTA exists to strengthen and support the SPCS community, running a range of social activities throughout the year where you can meet friends old and new, have fun, and help raise money for the school. This usually includes a curry and quiz night, plus class meet-ups across the year.

The PTA also runs discos and film evenings for different sections of the school, organises competitions and popular termly cake sales, and holds a Summer Fair to raise money for both the school and external charities. It funds a “treats day” for children to enjoy a day out each year with their form group, and makes grants to enhance the pupil experience, such as funding the new school garden or other “nice to have” items.

PTA members also make themselves available at Open Afternoons, offering prospective parents advice and information about SPCS, and helping new families settle into the community.

We’re always keen to hear from parents who’d like to join the PTA’s organising committee. You can contact the current Chair, Alex Tsang, via the School Office, or email pta@spcs.london.sch.uk.
