U6 Football vs City Juniors
Team B: Today saw the return of football fixtures for Year 6 boys at St Paul’s, what proved to be an end to end game, full of half-chances and snatched shots. It was not until in the 2nd half, when a half-volley struck into the lower bottom right corner by Oliver Dudley was enough to seal a 1-0-win victory for St Paul’s. Great spirit was seen and played throughout the whole game and gracious sportsmanship was prominent throughout. A very positive start to football fixtures for the year 6’s!
Team A: On Monday, the Year 6 boys kicked off the fixture season playing football against City Juniors. Although it ended in a 3-0 win for City, the boys gave it their all in a tough match and showed brilliant team spirit throughout. Special shout-outs go to Alfie, who stepped up to be goalkeeper and pulled off some great saves. Also, to Minjun who got stuck in to help win us the ball, and Henry and Ben who relentlessly kept pressure on until the final whistle. Well done to all the boys involved, this was a fantastic start to our football season!
